While also well known for his aviation and motorcycle art work, Geo Ham was most famous for his automotive paintings and illustrations. The image presented here was the official poster for the ACF (Automobile Club de France) event ran in July 1938. The race was dominated by Mercedes-Benz and won by Manfred von Brauchitsch.
The illustration shows an artistic interpretation of the French Talbot and is considered a classic Geo Ham poster. Linen backed, signed on the top right.
